Welcome to Round 2.

Saturday night's Fourth of July extravaganza at Daytona International Speedway marks the time of year in which the Sprint Cup Series makes return rounds to a handful of race tracks.

Travel Log documented the history of each stop through the first half of the season, and will continue to do so at stand-alone stops like Chicago, Indianapolis and others. But for return visits, it's time to party in the infield.

Travel Log takes a look at what there is to do during a weekend stay in Daytona -- the track, not the city.

PETTY'S ANNIVERSARY OF 200TH WIN
It was July 4, 1984. Cale Yarborough started from the pole in the Firecracker 400 and led 79 laps. The race saw only three cautions, and the final one ended the race. Cruising across the finish line in fashion was Richard Petty, collecting his 200th and final victory.

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of Petty's 200th victory, Daytona's Fanzone is touting a host of Petty memorabilia throughout the weekend, from cars to driver suits to trophies. Among the memorabilia displayed will be:

• Pontiac that Petty drove to his 199th victory, at Dover
• Pontiac that Petty drove to his 200th victory, at Daytona
• Oldsmobile that Petty drove to his 1979 Daytona 500 victory
• Buick that Petty drove to his seventh and final Daytona 500 victory in 1981
• Trophy from Petty's 1984 Firecracker 400 victory
• Driver uniform and helmet from Petty's 1984 Firecracker 400 victory
• Green flag from 1984 Firecracker 400
• All seven of Petty's Daytona 500 trophies

KENSETH TO BE HONORED ON WALK OF FAME
Matt Kenseth will place his right footprint (accelerator foot) and hand prints into the concrete at Daytona.

The track will honor Kenseth for his 2009 Daytona 500 victory on Friday. At 11:30 a.m. ET, Kenseth will have a question and answer session with fans at the Daytona 500 Experience, followed immediately by him cementing his imprints in stone on the Daytona 500 Champion's Walk of Fame.

Each Daytona 500 winner since 1996 has his prints on the Walk.

SUMMERFEST AT DAYTONA
Live music with a concert-like vibe packs Saturday's celebration. The Down Getters, Pokerdogs, Whiskey Basin and Simplified are a few of the bands performing live leading up to the green flag of the Coke Zero 400. Mixed in with all that are countless driver appearances throughout the day. Those scheduled: Ryan Newman, Bobby Labonte, David Ragan, Kevin Harvick, Jeff Burton, Clint Bowyer, Jamie McMurray, Kasey Kahne and Elliott Sadler, to name a few.
